I’m excited to share with you all about my experience as a vendor at the Conyers Book Festival held on April 20, 2024. It was an incredible event, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to showcase my latest book, “Jeremy and the Beetle Takedown.”
Sponsored by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, my booth was buzzing with excitement throughout the festival. It was amazing to see attendees of all ages drawn to my book, eager to embark on an adventure with Jeremy and the STEAM School Squad.
“Jeremy and the Beetle Takedown” is a story close to my heart, and it was a joy to share it with readers at the festival. The book is filled with thrilling twists and turns as Jeremy sets out to save a nearby forest from the Emerald Ash Borer beetle infestation. Through engaging storytelling and vibrant illustrations, I aimed to capture the imagination of young readers and inspire them to embrace bravery, friendship, and determination.
One of the highlights of the festival was seeing children engage with the interactive activities I had prepared. From coloring sheets to STEAM-themed puzzles and mazes, it was touching to see kids immerse themselves in Jeremy’s world and let their creativity run wild.
The Conyers Book Festival was a truly lovely experience, and I’m grateful to everyone who stopped by my booth to say hello, ask questions, and share their love of reading. Your support and enthusiasm mean the world to me, and I can’t wait to continue sharing my stories with you all in the future.
