Meet Sallana Brown
Hi, I am Sallana Brown. I grew up in a household where books and art were always present. My mother was an educator and artist, and she would often read stories to her children, and her students. I was also captivated by the mural my mother painted on our living room wall, which was filled with colorful characters and scenes. And my father was always reading and writing. My parents’ passions for writing and art enriched my childhood and showed me the power of creativity. They taught me that the world was full of possibilities, and that anything was possible if I could just imagine it.
One day, my teacher suggested that everyone should write a book. It inspired me to start writing at an early age and so I started my journey. I had aspirations of one day sharing fun and engaging stories that would challenge readers to think in new and different ways.
