My Experience at the Conyers Book Festival 2024

I’m excited to share my experience as a vendor at the Conyers Book Festival held on April 20, 2024. It was an incredible event. I’m so grateful for the chance to showcase my latest book, Jeremy and the Beetle Takedown.

A Busy and Exciting Booth Experience

Sponsored by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, my booth stayed busy throughout the festival. Visitors of all ages stopped by. Many were drawn to my book and eager to join Jeremy on his adventure with the STEAM School Squad.

About My Book: Jeremy and the Beetle Takedown

This story is very close to my heart. It was a joy to share it with readers. The book follows Jeremy as he tries to save a nearby forest from the Emerald Ash Borer beetle. Along the way, he learns bravery, friendship, and determination. Through engaging storytelling and colorful illustrations, I hoped to inspire young readers.

Festival Highlights

One of the best parts of the day was watching children enjoy the interactive activities. They worked on coloring sheets and solved STEAM-themed puzzles and mazes. As a result, they became fully immersed in Jeremy’s world and expressed their creativity.
